What CRM would your company choose today if you had it to do all over again?

CRM Perspectives from a broad survey conducted by one of our favorite research houses | Nucleus Research

RESULTS FROM THE CRM SURVEY

Microsoft Dynamics     47%

Salesforce.com           23%

SugarCRM                  9%

NetSuite CRM             7%

Oracle CRM                6%

Sage CRM                  6%

RightNow                    2%

Our teams are experiencing similar percentages around CRM implementation requests coming thru our Build & Quote site this year.  One outlier however is Zoho CRM which accounts for almost 5%-6% of the requests for implementation so far coming thru our site in 2011.

As a CFO, CTO or executive decision maker faced with all the choices of CRM today it makes sense to take a look at the ROI of implementing each contrasted with the investment benefits gained.

Our members are also using this ROI tool, which has been downloaded by over 5MM, who really want something designed to help them build a financial business case to support their technology decision.

We hope you enjoy figuring out which CRM makes the most sense for your business in 2011.

"Sunday Night Thoughts on B2B for Small Business" by Jon Nicponski

B2B for the Small Business has long been a focus in my career and continues since joining as an Integration Advisor @Cazoomi.

In our effort to sync the systems of small businesses, which contribute most to our nation's growth as a technology powerhouse, Cazoomi has found that this effort is key to the second wave of growth around Cloud services.

At Cazoomi we see a lot of service companies catering to synchronization of applications for medium and large business.  These companies usually implement their solutions using a core of re-usable synchronization code and then relying on their consultants to write custom connectors to that code.   It is the necessity for up front customization that leads to large upfront costs and more often than not delays in implementing their solutions.

Today’s small and medium businesses are reaping huge benefits by utilizing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Constant Contact, ExactTarget, Get Satisfaction, Highrise CRM, PaySimple, SugarCRM, Zoho and Zendesk.   The key appeal for many of the customers of these applications is that there is no upfront cost and a simple pay as you go model.

When these same small businesses realize the need to synchronize information across two or more of these SaaS platforms, they are still confronted with a solutions implementation model, and they often avoid synchronization all together due to the large upfront cost.

At Cazoomi, with the help of our partners' platform offerings, we are working on a line of SaaS synchronization connectors that can be purchased on-line by companies with a low monthly fee and  NO upfront cost.  These solutions are configured simply at the time of purchase by the customer entering the credentials of the services they want synchronized, and then are instantiated real-time on each platform to begin working for the customer immediately.

Our key take-a-ways this month within our member network have been that offering a SaaS, small monthly fee sales model, to provide customers large company benefits is the way to reach those small businesses which contribute so much to our nation’s growth in so many ways.

- Jon Nicponski

*Update: July 4th week @cazoomi will announce it's new "simple framework" to allow small businesses to large enterprises to sync the systems they use on a daily basis to simplify & leverage their existing applications.

1st year out of the gate with Cazoomi Technology (Dec 1st, 2009 Beta launch to present)

By The #'s

Implementation | Integration | Support

Our Cazoomi teams have enjoyed a banner year out of the gate and our partners are a huge part of that success.

Social CRM - our top landing page for our partners, members and teams

A frequent stop for our members and also new customers is our Get Satisfaction Board featured above.  One of our first partners in Cazoomi when we launched last year, Dec 1st and #1 client/member acquisition platform EVER.  Statistics & Numbers only tell one side of our story as we rely 100% on our transparency to win over new prospects wanting implementation, integration or support from our teams.

Get Satisfaction has helped us achieve this transparency automatically by showing our customer base grow as we add on new services or Sync Apps highlighted on our products page.

Our Interactive Facebook landing page tells our story well with those members on Facebook dropping by just to see what is new at Cazoomi or members logging a support case on a service or app we have provided.

eCommerce on Cazoomi's Shopify Portal

We've added a new way for our company & our consultant network to provide members wanting a new SaaS implementation, support or just a Sync App, the method to buy these services & products from our eCommerce portal.  The new functionality of Shopify enabling you to customize the look and feel of your site and offer services as well has been a key factor in our growth this year.

Simple yet highly effective Symbaloo Marketing

With our launch of so many new Sync Apps and Services this year our team had to find a way to quickly update marketing for each partner's integrated SaaS application.  Enter the Symbaloo Board.

We have used Symbaloo to get out our messaging and it has been a fantastic marketing outlet for our team--we've finished up our NetSuite to Constant Contact Sync App and will be adding it to the board today to drive awareness of the thriving MarketPlace which our friends over at Constant Contact are building out.

So if you are one of the 400,000+ users of Constant Contact and need a Sync App head over to check us out here.

Cazoomi Team at Dreamforce

As we always want to spend time with our partners & members who made our BETA year one to remember we will be heading to this year's Dreamforce 2010 event to drop by and see all those who have been a HUGE part of our success.

If you're attending or if you're in the Bay Area, we'd be happy to meet up with you to hear more about your successes in 2010 & how we can play a part in 2011 and beyond.

Sync Apps Available Now & Coming Soon...

All sorts of new Sync Apps are around the corner for us in 2011 and beyond so stay tuned.  If you need a Sync App today not in this ensemble below direct message us @cazoomi to let us know!

Thanks to all of you who made this year one to remember @cazoomi

Quora + LinkedIn TrustCentral℠ + Cazoomi E4 Framework + Gist.com + Posterous

At Cazoomi our team focus is implementing, integrating and supporting applications so they can easily speak to one another.  We would love to have the ability to sync our company Facebook account, where it would publish to our group Posterous Blog, not just the other way around.

At Cazoomi we are a world-wide team of over 200+ consultants who are on each other's Skype and can easily connect on projects, business ideas, thoughts or just plain chatting at anytime of the day, everyday.

We know each others skills well and if there is a project, which is a fit, we pull each other into these with full confidence that the job will be done using the Cazoomi E4 Framework we have designed over the years in the implementation business.

Managing our Cazoomi projects is simple in that each person has their role and does not need email reminders to finish their tasks on time.  It's a system we have designed and used with our 1800+ Cazoomi member network successfully.

We call it LinkedIn TrustCentral℠ since every one of our 200+ Cazoomi consultants are in our LinkedIn network so we can pull in their specialties on our site via the API to match skills to projects.

As I use this very cool site, Quora, I think wouldn't it be great if all of the Cazoomi team members could be tagged here like I do in my Gist.com account then when they put their thoughts down here to enable others to learn from our successes it would post to our Cazoomi Posterous Blog.

The future is coming for sure, can't stop it, but for now I guess I will turn to my Philippine team to keep up their manual efforts of posting till that day arrives.
